dBD Communication recently supplied Dublin Aerospace with our Minerva Wireless Communications System. Dublin Aerospace  said-

"we find that the system allows for a much safer environment when carrying out function checks, as it allows cross talk which allows direct communiction between parties on the ground watching system and surface movement and the cockpit without being restricted to mobility due to having to be attached to the aircraft with the normal aircraft headsets"


Our headsets provide Passive Noise Reduction when engine checks and other high noise levels are present. The kit comprises the transceiver, interface lead, mains chargers, headset and antennas.

We also provide other variants with multiple users and standalone headsets used for de-icing and other similar tasks where a pair of operatives need to communicate simultaneously in high noise environments.

CCTV SECURITY TESTER 

STE 1200

 

The STE-1200 CCTV Security Tester from XFTP by Trilithic is used for the installation and maintenance  of closed circuit video monitoring systems. The unit can be used to display video feeds directly from security cameras, control the movement of Pan-Tilt-Zoom cameras, generate colourbar test images, capture addressing data from serial control systems, and test LAN cables.  

 

These functions along with easy operation and portability makes it simple for a CCTV technician to install and maintain CCTV systems, improving work efficiency by reducing time in the field.  

 

The STE-1200 can be used to capture and analyze data from RS485 cable. It can also test cable in local area networks by displaying the connection status, sequence and cable number. It is capable of baud rates ranging from 150, and 600 to 19200 bps along with support for RS232, and RS422 interfaces.

POWER DIVIDERS

Coaxial power dividers are useful for splitting signals into multiple paths. These power dividers are useful for dividing and combining signals. Type N power dividers and SMA power dividers are common in both base station and military applications. The power levels of combiners are dependent upon load VSWR, (Note; when using a coaxial power divider as a combiner, the power it can handle is much less, as the 2 signals being combined are usually not in phase.)  These coaxial power dividers can be used as power combiners buat at a greatly reduced power level. 90 degree hybrids can be used for higher power combiners.
